Property Problems
Construction defects can remain undetected until a critical moment is reached and they emerge, frequently setting in train a series of collateral problems. James will report on defects he sees and puts these into context. Occasionally there are innocuous looking defects which could, or are about to have, serious consequences, often costly; or there are those which might appear important but are in fact less so and easily remedied. Whilst he is not normally permitted to undertake a ‘destructive’ investigation of defects, his intuitive sense based on experience and training will normally give a clear indication of the underlying root cause of the problem. Whenever possible, he will suggest a solution or refer you to the appropriate expert.
